Here We Grow! Children’s Center and Preschool is a new center serving children ages 2.9 thru 6 years.

Hours: 7:00 AM- 5:30 PM Monday-Friday.
| Full Day: 7:00-5:30 | $55/day |
| 3/4 Day: 9:00-3:00 | $45/day |
| Half Day: 8:30-12:30 | $37/day |
Morning Activities include peer interactions, social opportunities with peers and teachers, independent and group play, art, and morning jobs. This is done through the use of sensory tables and materials, dramatic play, a chalk table, building materials, library, and more!
Circle Time gives us an opportunity to learn the importance of taking turns and respectful listening. During this time we teach greetings, counting, the calendar, the weather and sharing.
Group Learning focuses on literacy and math. We have a letter of the week, a question of the day, voting, counting, graphing, and equations. Our expanded literacy options include games such as Bingo, letter “scavenger” hunts, finding and discovering letters and words through forming letters in sand, play dough and other materials, name recognition/peer names, and sight words.
During Center Choice time the children can choose between Arts and Crafts (theme related activities), the Skill Center (shapes, letters and number activities), Math & Science (theme related independent activities), sensory tables or other tactile activities.

Director/Owner and Lead Teacher: Rose has her B.S in Early Childhood Ed. from Fitchburg State University and has over 25 years of experience in teaching and administration. Prior to making the decision to open HWG, Rose ran a highly successful after school program in Lexington and also worked in preschool and as a special needs teacher.
Laura started at HWG in January 2016. She has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Ed. from Mount Wachusett Community College. Laura has past experience as a lead teacher and also works as a Skill Trainer for a young special needs woman.
Megan has been with HWG essentially since it opened in 2014. She has already earned her EEC Teacher Certification from Middlesex Community College and is working toward her Lead Teacher Certification. In addition to her work at HWG, Megan was a care giver for an elderly woman, and volunteered at a daycare and at the Humane Society.
Nicole is an EEC Certified Teacher for preschool and has many years of experience teaching as well as raising her own two children. She has been at HWG since 2018.
Maribet started with us in 2021 and is EEC Certified in preschool as well as infant and toddler. She also has many years of experience in teaching and is also raising two children of her own. Ms. Maribet also shares her cultural upbringing by incorporating a good deal of Spanish into the curriculum!
